Our CSR commitments: responsible, sustainable logistics
Here at SYNVIA, we know that logistics is a key driver for change for a more sustainable world. We are committed to creating a highly-efficient, secure, responsible supply chain, while anticipating environmental and societal challenges.
at the heart of our strategy – Our commitment to sustainable development
We have placed corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the heart of our strategy. Our actions focus on six key priorities for shaping greener, more ethical and more innovative logistics:

Well-being and health
We apply working conditions that focus on ensuring our employees’ physical and mental safety. Preventing risks and continuously improving our facilities are an integral part of our priorities.
-
Gender equality
We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion by guaranteeing equal employment opportunities. We tackle all forms of discrimination in our company.

Waste treatment and business growth
We optimize how waste from our logistics operations is managed, by promoting recycling and reducing waste at the source. As such, we pursue responsible, sustainable business growth.
-
Industry, innovation and facilities
We develop innovative logistics solutions by investing in state-of-the-art technologies, to improve our supply chain performance. We ensure we meet new environmental and industrial challenges.
-
Responsible production and consumption
We optimize our processes to prevent wasting resources and to promote the use of sustainable materials in all our business activities.
-
Measures to tackle climate change
We actively reduce our carbon footprint by improving the energy efficiency of our facilities and by promoting less polluting modes of transport.
These commitments are an integral part of every link of our supply chain. As such, we offer transport and warehousing services that are in line with the sustainable development goals defined by the UN.

A ROADMAP FOR SETTING OUR COURSE – Our 3-year CSR ambitions
Our strategic goals
To breathe life into our vision, we have established an ambitious roadmap with tangible, measurable goals:
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions: -8% less CO₂ in three years by optimizing transport
- Upskill teams: by rolling out operational excellence practices across the company via Lean Management, training and internal career development programmes
- Introduce new multimodal solutions: by promoting combined transport alternatives to reduce our environmental footprint
- Diversify services: by providing tailor-made solutions adapted to new developing sectors, in addition to the agricultural supplies sector
- Extend our logistics coverage across Europe: by providing our customers with support for transnational projects while pursuing highly-secure ICPE and SEVESO logistics
Our collective commitment, key to achieving our goals – A structuring management system
“Become a European leader in secure, tailor-made logistics by developing sustainable, innovative solutions through learning teams”
To achieve these ambitions, our management system is based on three core principles:

- Ramping up digitization for finer-tuned flow management and better traceability
assess our progress – Measuring and monitoring our CSR commitments
Tangible indicators to assess our progress
To ensure the impact our actions have, we apply meticulous monitoring based on key performance indicators:
- annual carbon footprint: monitoring our CO₂ emissions, along with reduction plans
- Waste recycling and recovery rate: to improve internal practices
- Warehouse energy performance: monitoring consumption and investing in energy efficiency
- Regular assessments and audits: to check compliance with the following standards: ISO 9001, SQAS, AEO, SEVESO and MASE (Safety Improvement Guide for Companies)
